One small launcher

Start small.
Add only what you use.

The OfficePro launcher is a single native executable. It checks which apps are already installed and stays out of the way. Missing apps show a Get button — download one, and the launcher refreshes with an Open button.

Get the launcher

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. No runtime or background service. The installer is optional.

  1. 01

    Download the launcher

One executable. Put it in a folder you control.

  2. 02

    Press Get

Choose Word, Sheet, Slides or PDF. The launcher downloads and unpacks the app beside itself.

  3. 03

    Open your files

Use the normal Windows file picker. Open and save wherever you keep your documents.

Your cloud, not ours

One sign-in.
No extra account.

OfficePro rides on the OneDrive or Google Drive desktop client you already use. Sign in once, pick the synced folder, and every app starts its Open and Save dialogs there. The files stay in your provider's folder — OfficePro never creates a second cloud or asks for another password.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

The short version: it is a free preview, it runs locally, and your files stay yours.

Is OfficePro free?

Yes. The 1.0.0 preview is a free download. There is no account, trial timer or in-app purchase.

Do I have to install every app?

The Windows installer sets up the full suite at once. If you want to choose apps individually, use the portable launcher: it shows what is installed and only downloads the Get apps you select.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The apps are local Windows programs. Cloud sync is optional and comes from the provider's desktop client, not from an OfficePro service.

Where does cloud sync store files?

In the OneDrive or Google Drive folder you select. OfficePro does not create an OfficePro folder and does not upload anything itself.

Why does Windows show a SmartScreen warning?

The preview builds are not code-signed. Windows may ask you to confirm the download. You can verify the SHA-256 checksums against the release page before running anything.

Will it replace Microsoft Office?

It is a focused, lightweight alternative for common documents, not a complete clone. OfficePro is independent and is not affiliated with Microsoft or Google.
